The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., January 30, 2012: “I see that Obama is now doing all kinds of useless double-talk about the terrible, pending, mortgage problems in this country. He can do nothing about this looming catastrophe without infuriating either the American banks or rich foreign investors whose countries sit on top of oil fields, but he will wave his arms and talk, and talk hoping to blanket the issue until after the November elections. He has done nothing about the unemployment but wave his arms and talk and unemployment is growing, not shrinking. The dollar is slipping against almost all the world’s currency but nothing is being done about it. On the other side, the lunatic Republicans want to do shut down the unions, drain all the extant pension funds, shut off social security and medicade and invite Jesus to come and live at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave instead of the corporate offices of Goldman Sachs. The more restive the public becomes, the more aggressive the law enforcement muscle of the administration flexes. Soon, small children of eight or nine will be arrested for overdue library books and jaywalkers will get life sentences in Pelican Bay prison. Eventually, the public will have had enough and then we will see a real boom in air travel as legions of government officials and law enforcement agents leap onto flights to Antiqua or Brazil to avoid long sentences in Leavenworth or Atlanta. Don’t bet against this, sweethearts, because you’d lose big.” Continue Reading »

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C. January 26, 2012: “Anyone who studies history or economics realizes that this country is heading into the roiled waters just above Niagara Falls. Blue collar jobs have all vanished overseas. Young people cannot get jobs anywhere. The national debt is out of control. Obama is not in control. His administration is trying to clamp down on any possible dissent in the public by getting the FBI, the DHS and other agencies to spy on any person or organization that might cause serious uproar prior to the November election. Realizing that over 60 million Americans do not have, and will never get, clear title to their homes, a frenzied administration is making all kinds of vague and unfulfillable promises to mortgage holders while having websites that are exposing the immense problems quietly shut down. We know of at least one concerned site that was shut down by a company known to work closely with the government on security matters. Jails are packed with people, many of whom are entirely innocent of any crime and national law enforcement, feeling it has Presidential support, is brutalizing any person or persons who question the government’s actions, the endless wars, the growing poverty and unemployment and finally, the brutal reality that they are not paying off their mortgages but only paying rent to someone who bought a “financial package” from the Bank of America and other huge, bloated and very powerful national banks. Where will this end? To the readers of history, the prospects for civil disobedience that would grow into something far worse, are very, very clear.” Continue Reading »

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., January 24, 2012: “With a growing official tendency to limit personal freedoms, it is astonishing to read that the basically right wing Supreme Court has knocked off the Obama administrations spreading tentacles of public control. I know several FBI people and they laugh about how they started, and own, Internet II and how they can stick a GPS bug “on any car we like and track anyone in the country whenever we like.” The public is becoming more and more aware of the trend and the recent public uproar over Internet control Obama lovingly launched has caused much frustration and even bitterness in the White House. “We are only protecting them from terrorists!” they bleat on a daily basis. The White House is afraid of a public fed up with rising and permanent unemployment, offshoring of American blue collar jobs, anti-union far right Republicans and on and on. They are afraid the Republicans might actually find a candidate that is both intelligent and sane and then Obama is a one-termer just like the first Bush. And so the DHS spies on everyone, as does the FBI and even the DoD. No phone call is private, no computer safe and no safe deposit box inviolate. Eventually the public will erupt but hopefully, the White House hopes, not until after the November elections.” Continue Reading »

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., January 19, 2012: “ARMY FORESEES EXPANDED USE OF DRONES IN U.S. AIRSPACE
The Army issued a new directive last week to govern the growing use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) or “drones” within the United States for training missions and for “domestic operations.”
“The Army’s unmanned aircraft systems represent emerging technology that requires access to the National Airspace System,” wrote Army Secretary John M. McHugh in a January 13 memorandum.
Towards that end, the Army produced a revised policy on UAS operations to support “expanded UAS access to the National Airspace System.”  A copy of the new policy was obtained by Secrecy News.  See Army Directive 2012-02, January 13, 2012.
Much of the Army’s UAS activity will be devoted to UAS operator training conducted at or near military facilities, the policy indicates.  But beyond such training activities, the military also envisions a role for UAS in unspecified “domestic operations” in civilan airspace, according to a 2007 Memorandum of Agreement between the Department of Defense and the Federal Aviation Administration, which regulates domestic air traffic.
The 2007 Memorandum, which is appended to the new Army directive, was said to “allow, in accordance with applicable law, increased access for DoD UAS into the elements of the NAS [National Airspace System] outside of DoD-managed Restricted Areas or Warning Areas.”
The 2007 agreement was intended to “ensure DoD UAS assets have NAS access for domestic operations, including the War on Terror (WOT)…. This guidance applies to all DoD UAS, whether operated by Active, Reserve, National Guard, or other personnel.”
A prior edition of the Army’s “Unmanned Aircraft System Flight Regulations,” which will be updated to incorporate the latest policy, can be found on the Federation of American Scientists web site here.
The Electronic Frontier Foundation last week filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit seeking information on domestic drone operations.” Secrecy news Continue Reading »

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C. January 10, 2012: “The real beef with Iran is not her “atomic development” program but the fact that the Chinese gave them a GPS directional system for their surface to surface long range missiles. With this in place, you could shove a missile into the Knesset with inches to spare. This has genuinely terrified Israel and this is why there is the probability of a US rigged attack. A threat to close Hormuz, and a young American sentenced to death? There are elections in Iran and they are trying to boost images but it could give this country, and Israel, just the excuses they need. Long-range bombing is not on the table now but anti-missile programs are.. But then things can change in a day so these plans might be altered or aborted. Continue Reading »

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C. January 7, 2012: “Obama has now agreed to help out Israel and attack Iran but the Iranians must supply the “incident” necessary to go after them. It is now believed that Iran will not try to block the Straits of Hormuz but the close proximity of US and Iranian naval units could well lead to a situation wherein a “rigged” incident can happen. Israel wants Iran’s atomic projects obliterated and several powerful American/British oil companies have told Obama’s people they are ready and waiting to get their hands on Iran’s oil. On a scale of one to ten, the probability of military action in Iran is about nine and a half at this point in time. Of course, things can change but Israel is jabbering non-stop at us and elections are looming on the horizon. More dead, more oil, more lies in the controlled media.” Continue Reading »

December 25, 272 AD

First official public celebration of Dies Natalis Invicti Solis, a pagan Roman holiday that was later co-opted by Christians to celebrate the birth of their favorite Jew. Turning the holiday into “Christmas” (in 336 AD) was part of a pattern of the church stealing various pagan festivals and feast days

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., January 3, 2012: “I was having lunch with a French diplomat, an economic expert, and we were talking about the looming monetary crisis in the EU. It is fairly obvious to outside observers that the entire structure is beginning to fall apart. Countries with stable economies are asked to give billions of euros to countries with unstable or even collapsing economies. The Greeks on the leadership level are willing to accept enforced austerity in return for economic support but the public, used to years of free food, are in open rebellion. Italy is in serious economic trouble and Spain is right behind them. Neither France nor Germany wish to pour money down a hole and in spite of press releases talking about unity of spirit, the truth is that France, Germany, Russia and one Scandinavian country are making firm plans for their own economic and political union to replace the collapsing EU. It is fairly well known in Washington that our CIA has been behind the “voter protests” in Russia, hoping to kick Putin out before he starts on an expansionist program. The reabsorption of the Ukraine would be a major blow to the CIA’s “encirclement” program, a program that was dealt a nearly mortal blow by the Russian incursion into Georgia. Now, the U.S. is seen as a paper tiger and if Putin stays in power, all the efforts of the CIA to isolate Russia (so we can get our hands on her oil and gas) are in serious danger.” Continue Reading »
