The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., November 29, 2017: “The capacity in humans for self-delusion is astounding. BitCoins are surging upwards, attracting the idiot brigade as a candle does a moth. The Saudis think they are going to rule the Arab world by getting others to annihilate rival Shi’ites and Israel thinks it’s an important world power. What is pushed up without support, always falls and if both Israel and Saudi Arabia somehow bit the big one, peace would descend on the Arab world. Of course if this happened, the American government would have to find another area to meddle in and if they did, like all their other schemes, it would collapse as well.”

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., November 28, 2017: “The frantic trading in electronic currency, such as BitCoin is redolent of the South Seas Bubble of the eighteenth century, the stock market surge in 1928-29 and the more recent ‘dot-com’ episode. Without exception, so-called ’bubbles’ always burst, bringing economic disaster to many and calculated riches to a few. No government can allow its citizens to deal in monies they cannot either control or tax and the current BitCoin bubble is no exception. That it will, thanks to clever manipulations, surge upwards, drawing the gullible and their money, is certain and equally certain is that this bubble will fall and great will be the fall thereof.”

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., November 27, 2017: “Exciting Historical information you need to know about shipping Manure:

In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything had to be transported by ship. It was also before commercial fertilizer’s invention, so large shipments of manure were common. It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a lot less than when wet, but once water (at sea) hit it, it not only became heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of which a by-product is methane gas. As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles you can see what could (and did) happen. Methane began to build up below decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lantern, BOOOOM!

Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it was determined just what was happening. After that, the bundles of manure were always stamped with the term “Ship High In Transit” on them which meant for the sailors to stow it high enough off the lower decks so that any water that came into the hold would not touch this volatile cargo and start the production of methane. Thus evolved the term “S.H.I.T,” which has come down through the centuries and is in use to this very day.

You probably did not know the true history of this word. Neither did I.

I always thought it was a golf term.”

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., November 26, 2017: “The media is filled with reportage about the development of electric and automatic drive small cars. The reason for the development of these vehicles is because of the looming problems with oil. The United States is the largest consumer of gasoline in the world. The United States does not produce enough oil on its own to satisfy the needs of the American driving public. As the cost of living in large cities is prohibitive, many working Americans live in outlying suburbs and must drive many miles back and forth from their jobs. America was importing most of its oil from Saudi Arabia but that country is running out of oil and the chaos we see in that country at present is a direct result of the drying up of oil and cash. The Russians, on the other hand, have enormous producing, and untapped oil fields and because of their shrewd dealings with oil-possessing Arab countries, also have strong influence over the oil production in these countries. Eventually, the United States will have to modify its anti-Russian views and by doing so, be able to keep its citizen’s mobile.”

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., November 24, 2017: ”Coming upon us we have the unedifying spectacle of newly-rich American businessmen pushing themselves forward as candidates for the Oval Office. They have made so much money and are so used to getting their feet kissed by their employees that they actually believe they are important people. Jeff Besos now owns the tottering Washington Post and wants all the few subscribers left on their rolls to know his very important views and Mark Zuckerberg owns Facebook and feels that with as many subscribers as this firm has, he can easily sway a nomination, or an election, in his favor. Pride indeed goeth before a fall and a haughty spirit before destruction! And an ancient George Soros thinks that he can have is own way by spending money. When the Roman Empire ended up on the auction block and rich businessmen bought the title of Caesar, the days of that Empire were indeed numbered!”

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., November 24, 2017: ”I regularly help a friend with a very elite business assess potential workers.

I am amazed at the almost total lack of knowledge on the part of recent college or university graduates, although a large number of these alleged developers of higher learning are nothing but money-making scams.

One graduate, with honors, had no idea where Egypt (‘Next to Mexico?” said one recently) was and another thought that Lake Erie was in Arizona.

And the worst of these ill-educated ones all carried some kind of cell phone or tablet and during my interview, they were constantly fishing their electronic toys out of pocket or purse and having brief and mindless bursts of talk with their callers.

All of these useless creatures were told how excited I was in looking over their applications and that I would get back to them very soon.

The applications went straight into the shredder and I armed myself for the next applicant.

If these honor graduates represent the cream of American intelligentsia, I shudder to contemplate the future.

I call this the Curse of the Millennials or the Triumph of Matter over Mind.”

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., November 23, 2017:”This it turkey day. Here are entertaining turkey stories: An Alabama redneck passed away and left his entire estate in trust for his beloved widow. She can’t touch it until she’s 14.

Folks in Arkansas now go to some movies in groups of 18 or more. They were told ‘17 and under are not admitted’.

It’s true! In Mississippi reruns of Hee Haw are called documentaries.

Q: How can you tell if a West Virginia redneck is married?

A: There’s dried tobacco spit on both sides of his pickup truck.

Florida has a new $3,000,000 State Lottery. The winner gets $3 a year for a million years.

Recently, the Governor’s Mansion in Little Rock burned down. In fact, it almost  took out the entire trailer park.

A law recently changed in South Carolina now states: When a couple gets divorced, they’re still brother and sister.

The best thing to ever come out of Arkansas is I-40!

The best thing to even come out of California is an empty bus.

An Alabama State Trooper stopped a pickup truck. He asked the driver, “Got any ID?” The driver said, ‘’Bout what?’”

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C., November 22, 2017:”Some years ago, it was revealed that peasants had dug up a large clay jar filled with very rare Greek coins in Turkey. Prestigious coin dealer rushed to acquire these and soon the very rich were cooing with arrogant delight at their glittering acquisitions. Unfortunately for such cultural luminaries as the Koch brothers, these coins were all proven to have been struck in a mint in Sofia, Bulgaria, to get money for the Bulgarian KGB. Art magazines and newspaper cultural writers gushed forth like a broken septic tank one day and were very silent the next. We see the same thing in almost every aspect of collecting, be it Adolf Hitler fake paintings, fake Chinese rare coins or repainted old pieces of art. Barnum said there was a sucker born every minute but with the increased population every second would be more realistic. Here are some examples of frauds and how they are engineered.”
