The Barnes Review, named for the preeminent American
historical revisionist, Harry Elmer Barnes, was founded in 1994.
It is dedicated to an exploration and exposition of often
controversial historical episodes that are rarely, if ever,
addressed by academics. Modern history, especially in the United
States, is presented according to what is called “the
establishment view,” the official version of
events, and any variants of history that are not in accordance
with this official view are never aired in public.
The Barnes Review brings to public attention the variant
views to encourage a more detailed and balanced view of history.
For example, we are working on a series of articles on
Pearl Harbor that clearly show a different aspect than that so
stridently advocated by Court Historians and a
establishment-friendly media.
We are exploring the facts and fictions of the U.S.
military actions in Vietnam; the assassination of President John
F. Kennedy; the origins of the Second World War; various diverse
views on the root causes for the Cold War and investigate the
techniques of its prosecution; Soviet espionage in the United
States; the growing corruption in our legislative bodies.
It would be impossible for all readers of any view,
prejudice or persuasion to be universally pleased with the
agenda of the Barnes Review. An analysis of Pearl Harbor, for
instance, might please those who dislike Roosevelt or enrage
those who support his actions. The German campaign in 1941
against Stalin’s Soviet Union will please, and probably
interest, many and infuriate those who still support the Soviet
dictator. A study of the Holocaust industry will, again,
entertain some and anger others.
The same can be said for analysis of the economic
collapse in America, now becoming so painfully evident.
As in all such matters, however, it is always for the
reader to decide as to what constitutes truth. The main aim of
the Barnes Review is to explore all aspects of historical
events and leave to the reader the final and personal opinions.
As an incentive for new subscribers, the Barnes Review is
offering a complimentary copy of “Regicide: The Official
Assassination of John F. Kennedy” by controversial
historian Gregory Douglas.
This seminal work which is the first to publish
previously hidden official U.S. government documents about the
facts of this assassination sells for $19.95 but is free to all
new readers of the Barnes Review.

The materials
revealed in Mr. Douglas' book deserve front page news. A
monumental achievement.
Book Description
39 years
after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy,
the truth finally comes to light: In 1996, ROBERT
CROWLEY, former Deputy Director of Clandestine
Operations of the CIA, gave documents of his own top
secret operations to his friend, historian Gregory
Douglas. After Robert Crowley died in late 2000, Gregory
Douglas was free to begin publishing important sections
of the Crowley papers. This is the first of a series of
shocking revelations of the secret plots of top
officials of the U.S. government. Backed up with
documents reproduced in the book, Douglas proves which
individuals plotted to kill John F. Kennedy, why they
thought that this assassination was justified, how it
was done, who else was involved, and how the cover-up of
this major clandestine operation was mounted. |

A
Stunner!, June 20, 2002
Reviewer: Carl Huskins from Reston, VA
With 40 years of background in the
intelligence community, I approached this book with some
concern and strong doubts. Now, after having read it
through, twice, and talking with a number of my friends,
I have to say that this book, REGICIDE by Gregory
Douglas, is brilliant, decisive and answers any and all
questions I ever had on the tragic events of November
22, 1963. Douglas has taken official documents
concerning this terrible business and set them out in a
very clear and decisive way that can leave no doubt that
this is as close to the truth as we will ever get. It
deserves to be read by assassination buffs and casual
readers as well who have been bombarded with hundreds of
vague and speculative treatments. It is also a very
clear, powerfully presented thesis that has left me
stunned. Unlike the famous fake Hitler and Goebbels
"diaries" we have seen in the past, this book
is as accurate and believable as anything, any official
report, that I have ever read. I cannot praise the
efforts of Mr. Douglas to get at the truth enough. I
think that anyone reading this will want his friends to
read it as well. First class exposition all the way
around!!
