Over
the last four years, our stalwart leadership, led by George W. Bush
and personified by Attorney General Ashcroft, Governor Ridge of the
Homeland Security people and FBI Director Mueller have been issuing
periodical, dreadful warnings to the American people about imminent
attacks by Arab terrorists.
They
manage to get onto all the major networks with their serious
messages of impending doom. Always, we are told, very important
information has been uncovered by our ever-vigilant protectors, that
clearly indicates an attack on various targets within days. After
terrifying the American public repeatedly, these dimwits have always
been proven wrong. There are no attacks because there never were any
attacks being planned.
Our
intelligence agencies are utterly useless. In spite of a great deal
of genuinely serious material about real attacks, they did
absolutely nothing at all. As if to make up for their criminal
stupidity, they now seem to delight in issuing solemn ‘terror
alerts’ on a regular basis.
It
has now reached the point where no one with an IQ larger than his
hat size believes them.
Usually
these fabricated warnings come just before a certain bill comes up
for a vote in Congress or a Presidential election is looming and
either needs to be enhanced or, even worse, cancelled.
Our
heroic and protective President is so terrified of a genuine attack
that he spends very little time in the White House and when he does,
at the first indication of a small aircraft straying inside the
Forbidden Zone, he frantically races down to the White House bunker
and locks himself in.
Vice
President Cheney, on the other hand, doesn’t panic and run
screaming to a bunker. He
already lives in a bunker on a daily basis, only venturing out when
he absolutely has to.
This
manifestation of determined bravery should be a beacon to the rest
of the country when Bush’s mouthpieces loudly proclaim that only
Bush, the Anointed of God, is keeping America safe from attacks.
Insofar as his ability to protect anyone from danger, Bush is as
useless as tits on a boar pig but in spite of this, there are still
many who tremble with awe when he mangles the English language on
his occasional staged, well-rehearsed press conferences.
Here is a partial list of what we have been
saved from:
2001
October 11: The FBI warned of imminent terrorist attacks in the
United States “in the next several days”. Of course there was no
indication of when or where these attacks would occur. There were
no attacks.
October 29: The Administration warned of plans to strike the
United States “in the next week.” No specifics such as dates or
targets were given. There were no attacks.
December 3: Governor Ridge, Director of Homeland Security,
warns that terrorist strikes “could happen within the next few
weeks,” possibly connected with the Muslim religious festival of
Ramadan. There were no attacks.
2002
January 17: Attorney General Ashcroft warns that suicide attacks
“might be expected because of confidential information” the U.S.
government had received. No dates or places were given. Nothing more
was ever heard about the “confidential information.” There
were no attacks.
February 10: The FBI warned there was a threat of “imminent
attacks on the United States that might happen as early as February
12.” There were no attacks.
March 27: The Government issued a warning that American
citizens in four Italian cities “would be attacked on Easter
Sunday.” There were no attacks.
May 19: Vice President Cheney states that he is “certain
of new attacks against the United States”. There were no
attacks.
May 21: The FBI warned of imminent threat of
“attacks against the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of
Liberty”. There were no attacks.
September 10: The Government raised the National Alert Level to
orange stating that there would be “strikes against American sites
on the anniversary of the September 11 attack”. Air patrols were
instituted and access to government buildings was prohibited. There
were no attacks.
2003
February 8: Governor Ridge and Attorney General Ashcroft
established a high National Terror Alert, claiming they had
“evidence that terrorists would attack American hotels and
apartment buildings.” There were no attacks.
March 17. National Alert Level raised to orange. No reasons
are given. There were no attacks.
March 18. The Arizona National Guard was alerted and sent to
an Arizona nuclear plant because “an attack by al Queada agents
was imminent”. There was no attack.
December 21: Governor Ridge raised alert levels and warns that
the” threat of imminent attack is now the most serious since
2001”. There was no attack
2004
April 2: The Administration warns about “pending terrorist
attacks on buses and trains”. There were no attacks.
May 26. Attorney General Ashcroft and FBI Director Mueller
warn of a “plane attack inside the United States” and that
terrorists “were poised for an immediate attack”. There was
no attack.
August 1: Governor Ridge raises the alert level to orange,
claiming knowledge of plots against US financial institutions. It
was later discovered that his “knowledge” was four years old and
very unspecific. There was no attack
Comment: Oh what a tangled web we weave when first
we practice to deceive.
And speaking of
fake warnings, here is a nice new story from the main line media
just in time to aid the Bush election.
FBI Warns That
al-Qaida Could Use Helicopters, Limousines to Launch Attacks in
United States

WASHINGTON
— Al-Qaida may attempt to launch attacks in U.S. cities using
helicopters or rented limousines packed with explosives as weapons,
the FBI said in two nationwide bulletins.
Terror operatives could attempt to
hijack commercial, charter or tourist helicopter flights and use
them in suicide attacks against buildings, parades or sporting
events, said one of the intelligence bulletins obtained Monday by
The Associated Press.
Helicopters and limousines could both
help terrorists get closer to targeted buildings, the FBI warnings
said. The warnings were sent Friday night by the FBI and the
Homeland Security Department to 18,000 state and local law
enforcement agencies, other government officials and private groups.
Although the Bush administration's
recent heightened terror alert was confined to financial
institutions in New York, Newark, N.J., and Washington, the FBI said
al-Qaida was interested in using helicopters to attack "any
densely populated area of symbolic, economic or financial
importance" in the United States.
The other bulletin warns that al-Qaida
has frequently used rented cars and trucks for bomb attacks in the
past including the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center and may do
so again.
Limousines, the FBI said, could be
especially useful to terrorists because they are larger than regular
cars and might draw less suspicion than trucks.
"Limousines often convey an
impression of authority or prestige, which may facilitate their
access to specific locations in a building or a facility denied to
the general public," the FBI bulletin said.
The FBI says it has no credible,
specific evidence about the method, timing or location of any al-Qaida
attack inside the United States. But the bulletins come amid a steady
stream of intelligence indicating that the terror group intends to
strike in the months leading to the Nov. 2 presidential election.
The FBI bulletins were also issued
after arrests in Pakistan and Britain of several key al-Qaida
operatives and the seizure of computers, computer files and other
evidence. U.S. officials say they are hopeful that this lode of
information might be critical to disruption of plots that may be in
the final stages.
On the helicopter leads, the FBI says
it has information that indicates al-Qaida operatives have
considered using helicopters packed with explosives in an
unspecified attack.
Helicopters might also be used to
spread chemical or biological agents in the ventilation systems of
high-rise buildings, the FBI bulletin said.
"Terrorists may view helicopters
as an attractive weapon due to their maneuverability and
nonthreatening appearance when flying at low altitudes," the
FBI said.
Police around the country are being
urged by the FBI to pay extra attention to commercial and private
helicopter operations and schools. The businesses also are warned to
be alert to anyone with undue interest in helicopter payloads and
security procedures and to set up screening and identification
procedures for passengers and cargo.
Metal detectors also are suggested for
screening of helicopter passengers to discourage them from
"carrying weapons or dangerous items on board charter or tour
helicopters," the FBI said.
Vigilance also is being urged for car
and truck rental companies, particularly for any activities
suggesting that customers may be involved in preparations for an
upcoming attack. These include:
Customers who give vague or
unverifiable information, or who insist on paying in cash.
Inquiries about whether vehicles can be
modified to carry heavier loads or increased fuel.
Questions about a limousine's exact
length, height or interior volume.
Customers who appear to have
"burns or chemical exposure symptoms" and who provide
vague or illogical explanations about the injuries.
People
who make suspicious attempts to get a job at a vehicle rental
agency.

Political Assassinations To Be
Triggered By Public Release Of New Osama bin Laden Message

WASHINGTON-
U.S. intelligence officials say a high-profile
political assassination, triggered by the public release of a new
message from Osama bin Laden, will lead off the next major al Qaeda
terrorist attack, The Washington Times has learned. (Has
learned from whom? The White House?)
The assassination plan is among new
details of al Qaeda plots disclosed by U.S. officials familiar with
intelligence reports who, speaking on condition of anonymity, (Naturally
speaking off the record. If they went on the record, we would know
who they are) said the killing could be carried out against
a U.S. or foreign leader either in the United States or abroad. (Or
maybe against a Bulgarian diplomat or a Korean cab driver. Perhaps
in Singapore or even Ecuador!)
The officials mentioned Saudi Arabia
and Yemen, two nations that are working with the United States in
the battle against al Qaeda, as likely locales for the opening
assassination. (There are strong and this time authentic
indications from Very Important Administration Experts speaking on
the condition of anonymity, that the Wahhabists are planning a
putsch against the Saudi Royal family and the establishment of a
religious government in Saudi Arabia.)
The planning for the attacks to follow
involves "multiple targets in multiple venues" across the
United States, one official said. (“An official?” What
kind of an “official?” A local postal employee? A janitor at the
Pentagon? One of the odious Bush twins? This sounds so important but
is actually useless insofar as accurate reportage is concerned.)
Regarding the new bin Laden message,
the officials said there are intelligence reports, some of them
sketchy, that a new tape from the al Qaeda leader will surface soon.
(“Sketchy?” and “surface soon?” Wonderful! This will
surface when some Arab-speaking CIA employee gets around to
recording it.)
The new details of al Qaeda's plans
were found on a laptop computer belonging to arrested al Qaeda
operative Muhammad Naeem Noor Khan of Pakistan. (Wouldn’t be
more exciting to say that the laptop was actually that of bin Ladin
himself and found in the men’s room of a Pakistani railroad
station by ever-vigilant CIA agents? Where and when was this
“laptop” found? Again, nothing factual but it sounds important,
doesn’t it?)
"We're talking about planning at
the screwdriver level," one official said. "It is very
detailed." (Yet another “official”! Is this the same
anonymous one who found the laptop? When was this found? Two years
ago? Yesterday? Probably on the day the laptop was programmed for
the use of intelligence agency that “discovered it.”)
Khan was arrested July 13 in Lahore,
Pakistan, along with Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani, a Tanzanian who was
indicted in the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings in Africa and was on the
FBI's list of most-wanted terrorists.
U.S. and allied counterterrorism
officials are pursuing leads on other terrorists based on the data
from Khan's seized laptop. At least one arrest in Britain has been
made so far, and others are expected, the officials said. (An
arrest in Britain as corroboration for the latest fiction has no
validity. Tony Blair, who gives sycophancy a very bad name, also
conspired to “authenticate” the badly-forged Yellowcake Uranium
fiction and his people would have no trouble confirming one of their
suspects “was involved in this dastardly plot.” Two months
later, or better still, after the election, it will emerge that the
Arab informant was actually a laundromat employee with a severe
psychological problem but the obedient American media will
conveniently bury this back with the truss ads on the last page of
the classified sections.)
Additionally, U.S. intelligence
officials said they think that several al Qaeda terrorists already
in the United States are part of the plot, although their identities
and locations are not known. (This paragraph contains one
major error. It states that unnamed U.S. intelligence officials
actually think! None of them were thinking about the flood of timely
and authentic warnings pouring into U.S. Intelligence Officials
plush offices before the 9/11 attacks. It’s amazing how the
forthcoming election sharpens the acuity of official Washington. It
might have been better if U.S. Intelligence officials had at least attempted
to prevent the coming terror attack instead of inventing fairy
stories designed to terrify American voters into voting Bush back
for four more disastrous years.)
The targets, in addition to the
financial institutions in New York, Washington and Newark, N.J.,
that have been the subject of public warnings, include such
economic-related targets as oil and gas facilities with a view
toward disrupting the November election. (Ergo, let us just
postpone the elections, permit Bush to remain as President until
some vague time in the future when he can be appointed Führer-for-Life
by the few fanatical Republican legislators surviving a purge.)
"The goal of the next attack is
twofold: to damage the U.S. economy and to undermine the U.S.
election," the official said. "The view of al Qaeda is
'anybody but Bush.' " (‘Anybody but Bush” is a
wonderful concept. It should be obvious to anybody but a Bush
supporter that an alQaeda attack prior to the election would
absolutely guarantee a Bush reelection victory. The only person who
would benefit from another explosive outrage, aside from morticians
and reporters, would be the RNC and George Bush. No one outside the
United States, with the sole exception of Sharon and Blair, want
Bush reelected and that includes the Muslim world. Bush’s vicious
harassment of Muslims both inside and outside of the United States
has made him both feared and loathed by a very large segment of the
world’s population, very many members of which are not Muslim at
all.)
The officials also said the terrorist
group has begun using female members for preattack surveillance and
possibly as suicide bombers, thinking that women will have an easier
time getting past security checkpoints at airports, borders and
ports.
The al Qaeda attack plans call for
bombings using trucks and cars, and hijacked aircraft, including
commercial airliners and helicopters.
"There is a particular concern
that chemical trucks will be used," one official said.(Why
not include attack rats, poison gas armed attack-trained
hummingbirds, anthrax-laden beagles, refuse trucks filled with nerve
gas, skate boards equipped with surface-to-surface missiles, bicycle
messengers with limburger cheese spreaders in their saddlebags and
fake school busses stuffed with hydrogen bombs?)
Regarding the new bin Laden message,
the officials said there are intelligence reports, some of them
sketchy, that a new tape from the al Qaeda leader will surface soon.
(We are waiting with baited breath. No doubt the trained media
will report that the elusive bin Laden claims he is going to ruin
the elections and guarantee the Bush dynasty another four years in
dreadful power. The television networks, especially the rabid right
FOX network) will show fuzzy and inaudible footage with voice overs
claming to be bin Laden threatening to kill all the virgins in the
United States. Both of them)
In the past, video and audio messages
by bin Laden or his deputy, Ayman al-Zawahri, were broadcast days or
weeks before an attack, the officials said . (Oddly enough, we
always hear about these audio and video messages sometime after
someone puts a small
pipe bomb under the gate post of the U.S. Consulate in Karachi at
the request of FOX News, never before.)
"The message likely will be the
signal for the attack to be launched," one official said.
A second U.S. official said one
intelligence agency was aware of unconfirmed reports of a new bin
Laden tape. (Now we have a second unnamed and otherwise
unidentified ‘official.’)
"There may be such a tape, but it
hasn't surfaced and we haven't seen it," this official said. (Obviously,
that’s because it’s still in production.)
Bin Laden last released a taped message
in April. The CIA said that the audiotape probably was the
voice of bin Laden and that the mention of the March 11 Madrid train
bombings shows that the tape was current.
That tape offered a "truce"
for any European state that pledged to stop attacking Muslims and
end cooperation with the United States.
Contrary to what some Democratic
critics of the Bush administration have said, intelligence officials
said the new details of al Qaeda planning were obtained from the
Khan laptop. The terrorist group was in the process of updating
older attack plans, the officials said.
On Aug. 2, the Bush administration
raised the terrorism threat level from "elevated" to
"high" for five finance-related sites in the District, New
York and New Jersey, based on the intelligence in Khan's computer,
as well as other intelligence. (Yes, we know all about the
raised terror alert. Odd that it never happened for the Democratic
National Convention, a week earlier but just in time for Bush to
make a dramatic entrance at the Republican Convention, dressed in an
Air Force National Guard uniform and carrying an automatic Army
rifle. “I am protecting America!” he will scream as the hall
erupts in chants of “Bush for Führer! God Loves Republicans! And
Kill the unbelievers!”
Frances Townsend, a White House
homeland-security adviser, said Sunday that the government has
received a steady "stream" of intelligence indicating that
an al Qaeda attack is planned.
"What we know now that we didn't
know six months ago is that they've done a good deal of planning and
surveillance work to accomplish that goal," she said on CBS'
"Face the Nation." (Again we make reference to the
genuine, as opposed to the fake, warnings received by the same
agencies long before the 9/11 attack. Nothing was done about these
either because Bush and his trained dwarves were too stupid to know
and too lazy to care, or, and more believable, the attack was
eagerly awaited so as to project Bush as a “fighting wartime
leader and protector of the soaring eagle” as well as Protector of
the huge Iraqi oil fields.)
Comment: The Washiington Times is owned by
the Reverend Moon who was recently crowned Emperor of the World in
the presence of members of the United States Congress in the Capitol
Building. Further comments on the accuracy or motives of this paper
are unnecessary. Aside from drooling Bush supporters, is the
American public expected to believe these things? Next, we can
expect a solemn warning from Ashcroft or Ridge about fanatical Arabs
seizing the QE2 and blowing it up right next to the Republican
Convention Headquarters. Bush, at least, won’t make such
statements because he is spaced out on tranquilizers and hiding in
his bunker with Jerry Falwell for company. It’s truly amazing that
American intelligence suddenly seems to be in possession of reams of
“secret reports” and “terrorist plans” to promote their
political agendas but in the months, and weeks, leading up to 9/11,
even larger reams of actual, factual input were completely ignored.
Either our guardians are candidates for the Special Olympics or
someone highly placed wanted the attack to happen. Further, the
rantings about non-existent “terrorist attacks” are designed
solely to either drum up support for ‘Bush-As-Our-Protector’
propaganda or the not-so-clever groundwork for stopping the
elections and establishing a Hitlerian dictatorship.
