Germar Scheerer/Rudolf ,a well-known revisionist writer and publisher of books and pamphlets was arrested on October 18, 2005, in Chicago, by agents of Immigration and Naturalization and placed in custody, pending deportation to Germany.

Scheerer/Rudolf, 41, was convicted in a German court in 1995 for incitement of racial hatred and sentenced to 14 months in prison.  Scheerer/ Rudolf then fled German jurisdiction and went to England where, under his wife’s maiden name of Rudolf, set up a revisionist publishing company, Castle Hill Press.

Discovered by British authorities, Scheerer/Rudolf then fled to the United States and from there went to Mexico. He later filed for political asylum in the United States but his appeal was denied and then his subsequent two appeals were also denied and the deportation order was initiated in October of 2005.

According to the German State Prosecutor’s office in Berlin, Scheerer/Rudolf will also be charged with flight and with the continued publication, as a German citizen, of “material inciting racial hatred” and his original sentence of 14 months increased to the maximum of 5 years.

Scheerer/ Rudolf is now awaiting deportation to Germany and is being held in custody at the U.S. Immigration’s holding facility in Chicago.
