The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Isaiah 40:3-8

Washington, D.C. February 8, 2019:”The business with Jeff Bezos is typical of the behavior of Donald Trump. Mr. Bezos owns the Washington Post, a newspaper that is not fond of Mr. Trump. True to form, Trump got David Pecker, a good personal friend and owner of the sleazy National Enquirer, to smear Bezos and attempt to put him in a position where his Washington Post would change its negative tune. As usual, Trump failed and one can now expect so see even more unpleasant information about him in print. Trump is a bully but runs away if his targets turn on him. One supposes if an American print publication said, on its front page, ‘Donald Trump is fond of a Pecker’ that very soon, the paper would be sanctioned and Bolton would be threatening it with troop actions.”

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Isaiah 40:3-8

Washington, D.C. February 7, 2019:”One of Trump’s top aides approached several Pentagon officials this week, wondering if Trump would have the support of the US military if he needed to ‘crack down’ on a number of dissidents who were ‘threatening his Presidency and the peace of the Republic.’

This feeler was received with politeness but the opinion of America’s military leadership is that Trump is unfit for his office and in all probability has too strong connections with the Putin people for comfort.

Will we now see tattered legions of militant farmers, amed with AK 47s, wearing bib overalls and rubber boots, storming the hedquarters of the DNC shooting clerks and small children with happy smiles?

And in support, will we see their wives, sagging breasts wrapped in American flags and wearing little red Trump-is-God hats, carrying extra magazines and screaming his name in frantic tones?

Trump might dream of enormous Hitlerian military parades in Washington with himself, alone on a high platform, saluting the cheering troops but in reality, there is more probability of him banging on the door of his cell in Leavenworth Federal Prison, demanding an earlier dinner.”

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Isaiah 40:3-8

Washington, D.C. February 6, 2019:” The Rapture is a term most commonly used to describe an event in certain systems of Christian eschatology (study of the end times) whereby all true Christians are taken from Earth by God into Heaven.

Although almost all forms of Christianity believe that those who are “saved” will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, the term “rapture” is usually applied specifically to those theories saying that “Christians alive before the end of the world will be taken into heaven,” and there will be an intermediate time frame where non-Christians will be still left on earth before Christ arrives to set up his earthly kingdom.

The word “Rapture” is not found in the Bible. There is also no single word used by the numerous biblical authors to describe the prophetic factors which comprise the doctrine. Roman Catholics and nearly all of the main-line Protestants do not accept the concept of a rapture in which some are “taken up into Heaven” before the end of the world; this idea did not exist in the teachings of any Christians whatsoever until the late18th, and early 19th centuries, so it cannot be said to belong to Apostolic Tradition.

The legend of the Rapture is not mentioned in any Christian writings, until after the year 1830. Whether the early writers were Greek or Latin, Armenian or Coptic, Syrian or Ethiopian, English or German, orthodox or heretic, no one mentioned a syllable about it. Of course, those who feel the origin of the teaching is in the Bible would say that it only ceased being taught (for some unknown reason) at the close of the apostolic age only to reappear in 1830 But if the doctrine were so clearly stated in Scripture, it seems incredible that no one should have referred to it before the 19th and early 20th century.

This does not, in and of itself prove conclusively that the story is wrong, but it does mean that thousands of eminent scholars who lived over a span of seventeen centuries (including some of the most astute of the religious scholars of the early Christian and, later of the Reformation and post-Reformation periods) must be considered as grossly incompetent for not having either knowledge or understanding  of a teaching viewed by fringe religious groups as so central to their beliefs. This lapse of seventeen centuries when no one mentioned anything about it is certainly a serious obstacle to its reliability or its acceptance by the less credulous.”

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Isaiah 40:3-8

Washington, D.C. February 5, 2019:” With the collapsing American economy, many Americans are rushing to invest in gold; either coins or bar, and also silver. One of the most popular forms of this investment are American coins.  Where there is a need, there is always someone to fill it and in this case, the filling consists of the massive counterfeiting of gold coins, silver coins, and even Swiss gold bars in China. Initially, it appeared they were only faking Morgan dollars, but then it turned out they were also making $20 Liberty, and Indian Head gold $2.50, $5, and $10 coins, of all dates. Evidently, this is extremely easy with today’s computer-and-laser-die-cutting technology, and the fakes are being die-struck in vast quantities, not cast, and visually at least, are superb copies.

The good news is that these fakes are readily detectable with a 0.01 – gram scale, as the Chinese in their greed are using lower carats of gold and lower grades of silver than the genuine coins, to maximize profit, and thus, in most cases, the fake coins and bars are lighter than the real ones. In a few cases, the silver coins of high numismatic interest are actually OVER weight – it appears that the supply of accurate planchet stock is a major difficulty for the forgers.”

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Isaiah 40:3-8

Washington, D.C. February 3, 2019:”From various sorces, official and unofficial, I have been compiling bits and pieces of interesting information that might prove to be of interest to the average citizen.

  • If you have a cell phone and are not using it, keep it in a box lined with sheet lead.

Why?

Because the pointy-heads can always use it to listen to you, even if it is turned off.

  • Note that if you send an email outside the country, the NSA automatically downloads it for future inspection.

This allows one to put all kinds of disinformation into the septic tank.

  • And if you want to send any confidential information by US Mail, always use a fake sender address.

Why?

Because the FBI has the USPS scan all mail and packages and send the daily results to them.

They haven’t gotten around to having the USPS open letters and read them but that no doubt will be coming soon.

I recommend using ‘Mike Hunt’ or ‘Ben Dova’ as possible new sender names.

  • If you are on the telephone, you never know if the pointy-heads might be listening

so keep them interested.

Say to someone: ‘I had no idea Trump did sickening things like that. My friend in the CIA sent me a raft of inside dirt on Trump just yesterday from the Secret Service reports but I didn’t see that gem.’

Or: ‘The meeting will be in Maryland on Saturday but the General can’t come. Did you see his report on the new missle?’

I have enough material to write a book but I doubt if I could ever find an American publisher.

More later.

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Isaiah 40:3-8

Washington, D.C. February 2, 2019:”Having worked in Washington as a reporter some years ago, I became acquainted with a number of influential and well-placed figures with whom I have kept in friendly contact.

I spent the last week in the capitol, trying to get some top-level opinions on the increasingly bizarre behavior of the President. I learned a great deal with significant identical information coming from people who did not know each other.

In the first place, Trump is viewed as a deranged individual who most certainly has been in contact with Russian intelligence. He is not considered to be an honest person in any aspect of his life and the persistent rumors are that Mr. Mueller has enough factual information to have Trump removed, legally, from the Oval Office, and possibly arrested and charged with treason.

His distasteful habit of dumping his close associates the moment the law closes in on them and to deny knowing them has caused more than a few of these associates to open up to the Mueller people.

Trump is far from an honest man and over the years he has engaged in crooked business, and personal, practices that would land anyone else in a cell in a Federal jail.

Presently, and very quietly, Senators and Congressmen are being very privately polled on the subject of impeachment and all of my sources indicate that there are now enough votes to impeach Trump.

Whether this process will be implemented in the very near future depends on several factors.

If Trump continues his behavior patterns and prefers to dictate rather than negotiate, he is a dead chicken and the American media will have a field day with the subject. A concern has been his support among the Jesus Freaks and far right nutties but the Pentagon people, who basically control the military, have indicated their full support of Trump’s departure and that if the gun-loving fanatical rightists engage in violence in support of Trump, the Army is fully capable of dealing severely with them.”
