The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C. December 18, 2014: “There are three major, and very serious, problems facing the United States, none of which are ever reported in the media. The first is the growing unemployment situation. By off shoring most heavy industry, American oligarchs initially saved millions of dollars in wages paid to Americans. This might have been an initial boost to their profits, but in the end, it will destroy them. By removing millions of Americans from the employment market, they have created a situation wherein the unemployed cannot afford to buy, let us say, American cars. Look today at the number of new cars on a busy highway and note that there are very few of them compared with earlier times. That is the first problem. The second is the dependence on oil; a product America does not have and must get from outside sources. The national demand for gasoline is immense so the United States is always looking for new sources. Russia is the world’s largest producer of oil and gas but instead of dealing with Russia, American policy is to attempt to get control of Russia, as she nearly did in the 1990s, and not have to pay for the oil. This has failed and created terrible economic and political problems and now it emerges that Saudi Arabia, America’s primary source for oil, is nearly out of it. And the third problem is the mortgage swindle. Led by Countrywide, millions of faked mortgages were dumped on the American home-buying public and now, it has been conservatively estimated that thanks to a corrupt banking industry and with governmental connivance, seventy million Americans with a home mortgage cannot own their own homes because no one knows who owns their mortgage. The governmental response has been to hide this issue and hope, fingers crossed, that the eventual immense damage will happen after they have retired.” Continue Reading »

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C. December 11, 2024: “The revelations of CIA-US government practice of massive torture of prisoners are not new or unknown inside governmental circles but now they have become public…although only in a sanitized form…. there will be the usual self-important breast-beating and calls for reform. Trust me, there will be no reform. The CIA is doing what the White House wants it to do be it destablizing the Ukraine by having its local hires shooting into crowed of protesters in Kiev or attempting to assassinate Edward Snowden. Information gained by torture is virtually worthless and the damage this will do to the reputation of the United States, especially in Muslim countries, cannot be calculated. The American public can do nothing about the CIA’s sadism because they answer to no one but foreign opinion is more important. The Germans are now fully aware of the degree and extent of American spying and maniplulations and in the end, the United States will pay dearly for their actions.” Continue Reading »

The Voice of the White House

Washington, D.C. December 4, 2014: “In using the Internet to search out interesting and timely reports, one is struck by the very obvious news control in the American media. The once impressive New York Times has turned into little more than a pro-Washington gossip sheet of the same level as a high school newspaper. Unemployment and illiteracy, government corruption and growing uselessness are concealed from public view with hysterical stories about Putin’s Russia, how America is the world’s largest supplier of oil (which it isn’t) and endless stories about blacks being brutally murdered by the police. If someone is truly interested in accurate news, avoid the sensationalistic and always inaccurate blogs and look at legitimate news sites. One of the best is Reuters. A site with a slant towards the business world, neveretheless, it is usually dispassionate and quite accurate. The Guardian annoyed Washington with its coverage of Edward Snowden and was attacked by British authorities (at Washington’s strong request) and now talks about rapes in Calcutta or skin diving in Australia. Snowden is still in Russia despite Obama’s strident demands that he be extradited to American, there to face weekends in the gas chamber. And the CIA has been unable to kill him so he is now basicially ignored by the strongly controlled western media. And Europe is beginning to discover other unpleasant matters, such as the total vanishing of foreign gold deposits in American and, for the Swiss, Canadian banks. The gold was sold off some time ago, mostly to China, to pay for the endless colonial wars Obama and the neo-cons seem to love. And the growing unemployment rolls, the cancelled pensions, the devaluation of the dollar are glossed over with tittering stories about cats in trees or a flood in Bad Seepage, Ohio that destroyed benches in a public park.” Continue Reading »
